RPM Italian– Fancier, smaller plate italian food.

Sienna Tavern– Also amazing Italian. Famous chef that won Top Chef.

Dunlays On Clark– Best breakfast sandwiches.

Coco Pazzo Cafe– (the less dressy italian version of Coco Pazzo, make sure you go to the cafe) Get the spicy sausage rigatoni in a tomato cream sauce.

Mercadito– Amazing Mexican Tacos. More upscale and a bit different, but SOOO good! Try their street corn with your tacos too! Amazing cocktails.

Friends Sushi– (downtown) Amazing Sushi, very modern small restaurant. Make a reservation or put your name in and pop into a cool hotel bar near the restaurant while you wait.

John Hancock Building– 95th Signature Floor- go up there and grab a cocktail. The view of the city is amazing, especially in the girls bathroom! (go at night)

Barrelhouse Flat– Really good cocktails!

Drum Bar– (inside of a hotel) a cool speakeasy bar with great cocktails.

Lou Malnati’s– pretty famous pizza place.

EATALY– you MUST go! Mario Batali’s Italian Market. Grab a glass of wine and walk around, or grab a fresh bowl of pasta after walking around! Such a fun thing to check out!

Le Colonial– a fusion of Thai/French food. On the pricier side but check it out for lunch!

Taco Joint– Best Mexican street tacos and mezcal margaritas!

Slurping Turtle– Really good Ramen house.

Oiistar– Also a good ramen place. Definitely try some bao buns if you go!

Au Cheval– Been voted as one of the best burgers in the US. I’d recommend going early if you go! Or, put your name in and head across the street to the brewery and hang for a bit! Definitely worth the wait!

Right near Au Cheval is this amazing taco place called De Cero– try their tacos and their pork nachos if you’re up for it!

DMK– Literally one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. You must get their truffle fries.

Three Dots & A Dash– fun to check out for sure

“Watershed” Bar– Cool, kinda dark and loungey bar located in the basement of the bar “Pops for Champagne” which is also fun, if you like champs.

Bridge House Tavern– So pretty and located right on the river. Best brunch ever! Get the chicken & waffles

Rollapalooza– Sushi served with black rice! So good! Also cool because it’s BYOB!

There’s a bunch of shopping on State Street

Definitely check out Michigan avenue
